Draped Maternity Sessions: A stunning way to photograph your baby bump

What exactly IS a ‘draped’ session?

These sessions are built specifically for my maternity clients and they have really magical results. The only thing momma-to-be wears is a sheer drape. No underwear, no bra, no shoes, nothing. Just you and the drape. It sounds kinda crazy but I promise you will have more fun with this session then you could ever image! They are done in my in-home studio for privacy and I have a professional backdrop and lighting set up which makes things simple, timeless and sophisticated.

A little about the “drape”….

The drape is basically a sheer curtain. I’ll help you fold and wrap it so that it strategically covers specific areas and allows for silhouettes in other places. The end results are stunning. The drape and lighting create a look that highlights your beautiful pregnant body in a way that is both sophisticated and sexy. These are pictures you will feel proud to showcase on your walls, in an album or on your socials to remind you of just how radiant you truly are!

How long do these sessions take?

It’s amazing how quick these sessions go. My biggest priority is that you feel comfortable, confident and in control. I will demonstrate how to position the drape before we even start the session and give you clear instructions on how the entire session will go so you know just what to expect. From start to finish these sessions typically take 30-45 minutes to complete. You can include your significant other, other children, or just use the time to highlight you and baby. It’s all up to you!
